Static store surveillance and store inspection

Retail security comprises two components.
Firstly, there is the static store surveillance where a uniformed officer is present in and around the store. This component has a highly deterrent effect on people with ill intentions and will positively impact shoplifting, illegal dumping, and aggression from day one.
Secondly, there is the store inspection. In this case, a person, who has undergone additional training and is not in uniform (in civilian clothes), walks around the store posing as a customer. In this undercover role, he/she has the opportunity to detect certain issues that are much more difficult for a uniformed officer to identify.
In summary: in most cases, retail security offers significant added value to the store.
More than a decade later, TND Security can rely on a team of several hundred full-time security agents. They are deployed across the entire territory of Belgium and beyond. Each of these security agents has their specific strengths and characteristics. When these are correctly utilised, they contribute to a comprehensive alleviation in terms of security.
